NEW English 11 AP and English 12 AP

This year ACAA is offering Advanced Placement courses for English 11 and English 12.  Both courses will align with the state standards for English 11 and 12, but are of a highly rigorous nature and are intended to prepare student to take and excel on the national AP English exams.

The courses are taught by Mr. Campbell, who taught English 10, 11, and 12 at ACAA from 2008 to 2010.  Mr. Campbell is a AP certified who taught AP 11 in Maryland for before arriving in Arizona. He taught high school English at ACAA from 2008 to 2010.

Spring High School AIMS Test Dates:
    Writing: Tuesday, February 28th
    Reading: Wednesday, February 29th
    Math: Tuesday, April 10th
    Science: Wednesday, April 11th

AIMS Tutoring is available for all 11th and 12th grade students who need to pass the AIMS.

Any juniors who would like to EXCEED on the AIMS must do so this year.  The state no longer allows seniors to retake AIMS once they have passed.
