Mr. Lalley spent eight years in the military and thirteen years with the McDonald’s Corporation, starting when he was sixteen and working his way up to restaurant manager, before pursuing a career in education. After spending 6 years at Los Coyotes Middle School in California as an 8th grade math and science teacher, he continued his teaching career with a two year contract teaching Algebra/Technology at Seoul International School in Seoul, Korea. Upon his return, he completed two years at Brown Junior High School in Las Vegas, Nevada as an 8th grade math teacher.
Mr. Lalley has held a variety of leadership roles prior to becoming a Principal ranging from JV Cross Country Coach, Varsity High School Swim Coach, Student Body Advisor, Math Department Chair, to chair of a School Improvement Plan Team.
Mr. Lalley earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management from University of Phoenix and his master’s degree in Education along with a California Professional Clear Multiple Teaching Credential with an emphasis on Cross-cultural, Language and Academic Development (CLAD) from National University. He later completed another master’s degree in Administrative Leadership along with a California Preliminary Administrative Services Credential from National University. In addition, Mr. Lalley is not only certified in California and Nevada, he received his Arizona Principal Certificate. Currently, Mr. Lalley is enrolled in an education doctoral program with Argosy University.
Mr. Lalley’s philosophy of education is creating an environment that allows each student, teacher, parent, staff and community member to learn. Educate all people from different cultures and backgrounds while humanizing today’s society.
